I bring forth pearls from the South

In Zamboanga, there are several natural pearls turned into accessories.

I bought plenty as pasalubong for my relatives, including a free bracelet from the vendor.

My cousin Sally is a collector and also her friend, Len from Cebu.

To test the authenticity of pearls, Sally just had to bite into each bud.

Shopping, free dinner with bloggers, watched fireworks, and enjoyed a foot and back massage at Foot for the Gods.

Monster Lobsters

I got these lobsters fresh from Zamboanga. When I arrived in Bacoor, Sally steamed them for lunch. Yummy!

Now they are ready to eat!

Rich and tasty Tahong

Then, we looked for pasalubong for Cora at Celine.

Lace brought Anya books and legends.

Then, off to the grocery to get my Tempura Sauce and Tocino mix to try back in Cragieburn.

Dinner with my relatives in Cavite

Here are photos from my dinner at Bacoor, Cavite with relatives Au and her son Bim. Also with Sally, her two kids Lace (plus Azrael) and Liza, and her siblings Yeyey and Gigi with her husband, Christian.

Sally prepared a sumptious feast of sweet and sour Lapu Lapu, which I brought fresh from Zamboanga. We also ate the Peking duck we bought from the World Bazaar. Christian cooked Ampalaya with ground beef.

Au brought delicious boneless bangus with tomato fillings and for dessert, sapin-sapin.
